The Early Education Resource Center of Waterbury/Duxbury

The purpose of The Children's Room is to support children, their families, and caregivers to enhance their experiences by providing opportunities for playing, learning and gathering with other families. We serve the families with children ages birth to six. In addition to our warm and welcoming drop in play space, the center is a support facility and hub of area resources to offer information on parenting and care giving skills and to promote intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of our most precious resource, our children.

**Monday and Friday we have a TBPS library visit with Nancy Daigle. Monday at 10:30 and Friday at 2:00. This is a great way for our little ones to get comfortable here at TBPS.

**Tuesday is Story Time at 10:00 with reading, crafts and a healthy snack.

**Wednesday brings Music at 10:00. Join us for experiential music making and lots of dancing and singing.

**Thursday is Art and Exploration. This is an opportunity to come to the room and get a little messy with all kinds of creative mediums.

** Everyday offers Open Gym Time from 11:00 to 11:30. Come and join the fun   with running, jumping, tumbling, throwing and chasing.
